Winnie The Pooh Toys

Winnie the pooh characters, are extremely popular with kids! (and with Moms!)

I almost tripped over last night, immediately having just walked into my daughter's bedroom and the culprit the one who jumped up and tripped me was my daughters favorite stuffed ‘Tigger’.
He is so lucky that he's so cute, because my stubbed toe still hurts! My house has “Winnie The Pooh”, toys just about everywhere. It has been this way ever since we brought her home from the maternity hospital.

‘Winnie the Pooh’ Toys R Us!

The décor in her bedroom is all “Winnie the Pooh” and the gang. The day that I went to ‘Toys R Us’, to sign up for the ‘baby registry’, I began to understand exactly how many “Winnie The Pooh”, toys exist. ‘Pooh’ has taken over almost everything from bibs to pacifiers, and every toy and book imaginable.

I think that I could have spent hours, picking and choosing between all of these
adorable “Winnie the Pooh”, baby items, on the market and Some of The prices on those particular items almost sent me into early labor. But I managed to choose some cute and affordable items. My friends and family would appreciate that. My mother kept reminding me that not everything I bought had to have a ‘Winnie the Pooh’ theme. I tried to keep that in mind, but that ‘Pooh’ guy, seemed to have a mind of his own. All my husband would do was to roll to his eyes to the heavens at every additional “Winnie the Pooh” baby item, I brought home.

Toys to Educate or Toys to Entertain?

When selecting toys, I had to choose between a huge range of the various types of toys that exist. There are toys which are educational, toys that are entertaining, toys to help teething, noisy toys and… well, you get the picture! Fortunately, someone decided that Winnie the Pooh toys could fit into every category. Most of our baby purchased items came from ‘Toys R Us’ and ‘Babies R Us’.

I try to find ‘a good deal’, when shopping normally, but when it comes to ‘baby shopping’, I guess I'm just a sucker.  I then decide that she should have some fluffy cuddly stuffed animals, to snuggle up to at night. So I dragged my husband to the mall one weekend for the sole purpose of checking out The ‘Disney Store. You guessed it, much to my delight, ‘The Disney Store’, was full of my favorite, ‘Winnie the Pooh’ toys! Of course, there were tons of other themes and other characters as well, but those ‘Winnie the Pooh toys’ just dared me to even contemplate looking at any of the other characters. We left that store each with two large bags of toys. Needless to say, my husband was ‘looking to the heavens’, once more!

Winnie the Pooh themed décor!

The decorating of my daughter's room was one of the most wonderful things I have ever done. I wanted to be as ‘creative’, as possible and yet keep her interests in mind. She was entirely too little, to really have her own interests fortunately, so I was forced to make some ‘executive decisions’ on her behalf.

And you again guessed it, Surprise, surprise - The theme of her room was All ‘Winnie the Pooh’. All of her sheets and curtains matched’ with cute little girl frills and ruffles. Her extensive range of ‘Winnie the Pooh’ toys, were all prominently, if a little precariously, arranged on her shelves, all poised, ready to find adventure.

Don’t be left on the shelf, If your name is ‘Tigger’!

Apparently, they are so precariously positioned, that they fall off of the shelves every so often, which is the reason that ‘Tigger’, jumped up at me, and I stubbed my toe. Perhaps he just wanted me to be put him back up on his shelf! Because of all people he must surely realize what a ‘Winnie the Pooh’, nut, I really am!
